Renowned sales expert and bestselling author Aaron Ross joins the Peachy Mondays Advisory board
PRESS RELEASE 18 June 2020
Edinburgh-based HR technology company and employee engagement experts Peachy Mondays has announced globally renowned sales and business growth expert Aaron Ross as its first Advisory board member.
Ross is author of the award-winning bestseller, Predictable Revenue: Turn Your Business Into A Sales Machine With The $100 Million Best Practices Of Salesforce.com, or as it’s often referred to, ‘The Sales Bible of The Silicon Valley’.
Among Ross’s well-documented achievements is growing Salesforce.com’s revenues to over $100 million. He was also Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Alloy Ventures, a $1 billion venture capital firm, and CEO of LeaseExchange (now eLease.com) where he raised $5 million in venture capital.
Over the past 11 years, Ross has grown his reputation as a highly sought-after keynote speaker on outbound sales development. In 2008 he co-founded Predictable Revenue, a consulting company that helps organisations with their outbound sales development.
“We’re thrilled that Aaron has become the first member of our Advisory Board,” says James Anderson, co-founder of Peachy Mondays.
“To have such a renowned expert investing his expertise in our company is incredible. Aaron has helped to transform sales teams and the sales development process in companies all over the world. His strategies are proven. Having access to such insights and knowledge will be invaluable in helping Peachy Mondays to achieve scalable, predictable, and sustainable revenue,” James continues.
“I’m excited to be helping Peachy Mondays with their ambitious growth strategy,” says Aaron Ross.
“Peachy Mondays’ platform has been proven at an impressive list of companies and brands. Even in my own company, I see the difficulty in getting useful feedback from employees, and Peachy Mondays has many ways to make it easier to gather and act quickly on employee feedback. One example is creating two-way anonymous conversations with employees, to open up more conversations and have a way to dig into the details of issues.”
Ross continues, “Leaders need ways to stay in closer touch with the hearts and minds of employees like never before, in how employees are feeling and coping with difficult changes.”
“41% of employees are feeling burned out between the pandemic, remote work and now riots. Your people can’t bring their best selves to work in that state, affecting things like sales, customer experiences and morale. I’m expecting a lot of companies to adopt Peachy Mondays as a practical way to listen to their people, to help them and to support them in bringing their best to their team and customer interactions.”
Peachy Mondays has seen an upsurge in demand recently since launching its free COVID-19 Employee Pulse Check. Designed to help employers quickly establish which employees are most in need of support during the pandemic lockdown, the free pulse check focuses on three main areas of importance:
- employee wellbeing
- enablement (how well an employee can do their work from home or other place)
- employees’ communication needs.
Existing clients, as well as new clients, are using the off-the-shelf survey, and some key themes have emerged, as reported by Peachy Mondays in its blog.
Founded in 2013 by James Anderson and Gordon Adam, Peachy Mondays has been disrupting the employee engagement survey market with its award-winning employee feedback platform.
Organisations from all around the world have adopted the Peachy Mondays platform, using it in multiple languages to help them collect and understand deep employee insights.
Vodafone Ziggo, Brooks Macdonald, Thorntons Law LLP, Brussels Airlines, McLaren, NDT Global, Worldwide Clinical Trials, Questionmark, Pobl and the Scottish SPCA are among the company’s growing list of clients that are using Peachy Mondays to gather employee feedback, in real-time; something that isn’t possible with traditional employee engagement surveys.
“We’ve always had ambitious plans to continue our growth in the UK and beyond,” says James. “The HR technology market is competitive and, with the increased focus on employee wellbeing and engagement as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s even more vital we’re able to stand out. Our aim is to attract more individuals, like Aaron, to our advisory board to help build on our success.”
