Listening when you don’t want to (March 2023)

When our organisations are going through big change programmes, it can be difficult to find the budget, time or motivation to invest in employee listening. But when people have more to say, we should be listening more.

In this roundtable we’ll explore the barriers to employee listening, especially through change – and how ramping up your efforts can help you in the long run.

Deepening connections in a fractured world of work (May 2023)

Flexible ways of working have undoubtedly had significant benefits for many employees and employers. Something we may have been forced into in the last few years is now expected in many roles. Conscious Quitting – what is it, and how will you know if it’s happening? – Wednesday 5th July 2023 13:00 – 14:30

Social justice, politics, and climate change used to be ‘no-go’ work conversations with many workplaces claiming ‘neutral ground’. Happiness at work – how to find it, build it, and keep it Wednesday 27th September 2023 13:00 – 14:30

We all wish for happiness at work, a state where we feel like we’re doing good purposeful work, with good people for a good wage, and where our values really align with the organisational culture. But it’s not always an easy thing to find.

In this roundtable, we’ll explore how we can find and measure happiness at work and how we can build organisational cultures which encourage people to do their best work.

Understanding and supporting your ‘Umbrella’ Managers Thursday 16th November 2023 13:00 – 14:30

The modern line manager is no longer just the director of tasks – they’re translator, coach, mentor, facilitator, improver, innovator and counsellor. With the world of work becoming ever more complex they’re under pressure to keep up and stay ahead like never before – often having to protect their teams from external and internal noise (hence the umbrella term).

In this roundtable, we’ll explore how we can get a deeper understanding of our line managers and what we can do to support them.

Listen better. Act faster. Drive engagement & effectiveness.
